If you prefer the previous behavior you can change this in the settings;
We have added the ability to export all the data of the app in a text file, available from the Import / Export page.
Version 3.2 (November 2020)
We have eliminated the list of expiring product as a separate page. Now to see the list of expiring products you can just filter the main list, tapping on the “calendar with exclamation mark” icon in the toolbar. Tap it again or tap on the back button to return to the previous visualization. In this way the app use less memory and also is easier to perform operations and apply filters starting from a product in the expiring list.
Added two arrows for fast scrolling the list of products that become visible when the list has more than 50 elements. By default the arrows scroll the list by 25 elements up or down but you can customize this in the settings page. You can also make them behave in order to bring you always to the bottom or to the top of the list with a single tap. If you don’t need this functionality you can also hide the arrows completely from the settings page.
The containers button has been moved to the middle of the bottom navigation bar, in order to make it more accessible.
The scrolling of the list should be a little bit smoother now.
Version 3.1 (October 2020)
- Notifications are now localized in the language in which the app is displayed.
- If you add a new product from a list filtered by container, that container is automatically assigned to the product you are creating.
Version 3.0 (October 2020)
Dropbox integration: it is now possible to sign in into your Dropbox account to send the local data to your Dropbox with a single tap.
The data can then be downloaded from another device, always with a single tap.
The data is stored in a folder of your Dropbox called “Expiring Things”.
Two new cloud-shaped icons are now visible in the upper navigation toolbar of the main page: the one with an upwards arrow is to upload data to Dropbox and the one with a downwards arrow is to download them.
The new icons are disabled until you sign in to your Dropbox account. Also, they can become disabled in case there is no internet connection.
If you don’t want to use Dropbox integration you can hide these new icons from the Settings page.
When you make change to your local data the icon for uploading become orange until you upload them; conversely, if there are new data on Dropbox that were not uploaded with the device you are using, the icon to download become orange until you download them.We have added a maintenance tab in the Settings page, where you can delete all of your products or all of your data (please, be careful!).
This can be useful e.g. in case you temporary change your location, and want to work with a different product list. You can now backup your data before moving, then clear all your data, insert the data relative to the new location, then restore the previous ones when you come back to your default location.
